The Fire Service Visit Year 1

Year 1 had lots of fun when the Fire Service came to visit. Mrs Brown arranged the visit as part of the 'People who Help Us' topic.

Teddybear's Picnic

Year 2 had a Teddybear's picnic today. Everyone had a great time! The children talked about their teddies, wrote about them and measured them. Look out for the tallest one! 

Year 1 Make Bread

Mrs Brown made brown bread with year 1. They enjoyed making it but eating it was better!

Halloween Disco 2009

We had a great evening at our annual Halloween Disco. The children rose to the occasion and were superbly dressed! Can you spot Mrs Preston? She had a good time too.

Year 3 Make Hats

Yera 3 had lots of fun making paper hats. They were a bit tricky but we managed in the end.

Paddington Bear comes to School

Paddington came to visit us today. He brought chocolate and drinks. You can collect tokens to buy Paddington at a reduced rate from Spar and Vivo shops.

Year 2 Visit the Zoo

Year 2 had a great time at Belfast Zoo. They were very lucky with the weather, the rain stayed off until lunch time!

Children's Cancer Fund

Rachel Burgoyne fron the Children's Cnacer Fund accepts a cheque for £1,700. Well done to everyone who took part.

The Golden Key

We all enjoyed the performance and learned that it's good to eat healthy food and keep fit!

A Big Thank You to Pamala Douglas

We all appreciate Pamala's hard work. She is out in all weathers seeing our children safely across the road. Here she is wearing her brand new uniform.

World Book Day 2009

Nearly all of the children made an effort on World Book Day. Thank you to the P.T.A. who provided prizes for the best costumes.

Year 6 Use Recycled Materials

Year 6 took part in a sponsored work shop using materials that can be recycled to raise money for charity.

This activity took place during charity week. The children had a great time!

The children dressed up for this trip and really felt as if they were visiting the past.

Year 4 Make Musical Instruments

Year 4 had fun making and playing their musical instruments. This was all part of a Science project on sound.

Christmas Disco

A big thank you to the P.T.A. for organising the Christmas Disco. We all enjoyed our crisps and juice and had great fun doing the congo!

Year 5 Pupil Wins!

Charlene Magill from Casrlereagh Bourgh Council, came to school to present Year 5 with their winnings! One of our pupils found all the things that were unsafe in the home. He won £50 of WH Smyth vouchers for himself and £250 for the school. Well done!
